Quimper (bretonsk: Kemper) er hovedstad i det Frankrike|franske Frankrikes departementer|departementet Finistère (fra finis terrae, "verdens ende") helt vest på Bretagnehalvøya.
Navnet "Quimper" er bretonsk for sammenfløde, og her flyter de tre elvene Frout, Steir og Odet sammen. Byen het også en gang Quimper-Corentin, oppkalt etter den hellige Corentin, byens første biskop. Under den franske revolusjon fikk den navnet Montagne-sur-Odet.
Byen har vært katolsk bispesete siden 400-tallet.
