Betws-y-Coed: Guide
Betws-y-Coed er en by i Conwy (grevskapsdistrikt)|Conwy i det nordlige Wales. Den ligger i regionen Snowdonia, ved elvene Conwy (elv)|Conwy og Llugwy.
Byen ble grunnlagt ved et kloster mot slutten av det 5. århundre, og vokste sakte med blygruvedrift som viktigste næringsvei. I 1815 konstruerte Thomas Telford Waterloo-broen, som brakte en hovedvei (nå motorveien A5) inn i byen, og dermed gjorde vilkårene for utvikling bedre.
Av severdigheter har byen to museer, Miner's Bridge, en kirke fra det 14. århundre, Fairy Glen og flere fosser, deriblant Pont-y-Pairfallene og Conwyfallene. Byen er et populært utgangspunkt for friluftsaktiviteter.
