Llandudno: Guide
Llandudno er en kystby i Conwy (grevskapsdistrikt)|Conwy i det nordlige Wales. Den ligger på nordkysten, mellom Bangor, Wales|Bangor og Rhyl, og har omkring 20 000 innbyggere (2004). Den mest populære stranden ligger mellom Great Orme og Little Orme.
Piren ble bygget i 1878, og er over 670 m lang. Den ble skadet av brann i 1994, men har blitt restaurert og er nå listet som bevaringsverdig (Grade II).
Great Orme Tramway er en kabelvognbane som ble åpnet i 1902 for å frakte passasjerer fra Llandudno til toppen av Great Orme. De originale vognene har blitt hold vedlike, og er fortsatt i bruk.
Det har vært gruvedrift under Ormefjellene siden bronsealderen, og flere av de eldste gruvene har blitt utforsket. En del av en bronsealdergruve har blitt gjort tilgjengelig for publikum.
Llandudno var vertskap for den nasjonale Eisteddfod i 1864, 1896 og 1963.
